24, officially.

I just had the best birthweek ever. I felt like the universe decided to finally give me a break and I’ve never felt better. This is how I said goodbye to 23.

My birthweek started with Valentines Day. It was my first valentines without a boyfriend, so I was a bit lethargic about how it would turn out, but I ended up with three dates that day. I got chocolate, flowers and unbelievably wasted. I have the bestest friends in the world.

I also got to catch Drea in Jamba Juice! Really lucky to have seen her, since she was only in Manila for a few days, most of which had to be spent with family.

I shared this week with my homegirl, Valerie, being born only a few days before me. I love her. I’m glad we finally decided to celebrate this year.

She gave me one of the best gifts ever— a ticket to see TORO Y MOI! Not only was the concert amazing, but I got to meet Chaz and told him personally that I loved his voice.

Saturday night was spent having a sushi dinner at Tokyo Bubble Tea with our closest friends.

We call our group TUS, short for The Usual Suspects. It consists of around 12 (or 13?) boys and only us five girls. We keep trying to recruit more females into the group, but it never really works out. Not too sure why either.

The after party was held at the penthouse in my building. We had the whole place to ourselves and drank til the morning.

The day after all this madness, I got the most wonderful surprise!

Carla, Julius and Idris came over unexpectedly, woke me up with a cupcake and a birthday serenade! Aren’t my friends so wonderful?

So I bought them a kickass dinner at New Bombay

and we drank with The Ready Set and Forever The Sickest Kids in Intercon.

The actual day of my birthday was a lot less crazy than the other days, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I wish I could say that my birthweek ended there, but we still had a party to host…
